This feels like a big step toward more natural, consistent AI video creation.

2/ Claude Code and the Day SaaS Stopped Feeling Safe

Anthropic’s Claude Code is having a full-on ChatGPT moment, with devs and hobbyists using it to ship serious software in days instead of months. That hype is spooking investors, sending SaaS stocks like Adobe, Salesforce, and Intuit down double digits as fears grow around AI-built “selfware.” Founders are skipping hires, finishing year-long projects in a week, and building entire apps end-to-end with Claude. The old SaaS logic of predictable recurring revenue starts to wobble when anyone can spin up custom tools on demand. Whether this sticks or fades, traditional software is clearly feeling the pressure.

3/ Gemini Skills Could Kill Click-by-Click Browsing

Gemini in Chrome is quietly leveling up from a helpful sidebar into a full-on AI agent that can actually do things for you. Google is testing a new “Skills” feature that lets users teach Gemini custom workflows, basically turning repetitive browser tasks into one-click automations. Instead of just summarizing or comparing tabs, Gemini will be able to execute actions across sites and services. Think less chatbot, more personal browser operator. It’s a small UI change that hints at a big shift in how we use the web.

4/ IG’s Filter Culture Is Over, Thanks to AI and Gen Z

Adam Mosseri says AI has killed Instagram’s polished aesthetic, with younger users ditching curated grids for candid, unfiltered photos in DMs. He’s pushing for camera-signed verification to prove what’s real and wants Instagram to label AI content while giving creators tools to compete. Mosseri predicts a shift from trusting images to trusting the people posting them. The move is ironic for the app that popularized “filter culture,” but it reflects how AI and changing habits are rewriting social media. Instagram is now racing to keep up with the authenticity trend.

5/ OpenAI Just Shot Its Shot at Google Chrome

OpenAI says it’d totally be down to buy Google Chrome—if the courts ever force Google to sell it. The comment came during a major antitrust trial where the DOJ is trying to break up Google’s dominance in online search. Google’s not having it, insisting Chrome isn’t up for grabs and calling the lawsuit bogus. OpenAI previously tried partnering with Google (no luck), and now it’s riding with Microsoft and Bing. Meanwhile, Google’s flexing Gemini, and OpenAI might even be cooking up its own social network. The AI wars just keep getting juicier.
