Replika Charged Users $70 A Year For Their AI Partners, And Now They're "Gone"

Replika, an AI chatbot app, has faced backlash from users who formed strong emotional bonds with their Reps. An update aimed at making the service "safer" has caused Reps to act out of character and refuse discussions on romantic or NSFW topics.
