ChatGPT is coming to Slack.

Salesforce-owned workplace communication app Slack is set to allow users to draft replies and comments using OpenAI's language model ChatGPT. The integration will also offer access to the app's summarization feature and the ability to access outside information pertinent to the company.

The new EinsteinGPT system will be integrated into Salesforce's sales system and can draft emotionally-muted sales emails and advertising messages. The company is also offering OpenAI-based chatbots for customer support, which can incorporate external information, but human verification is still required.

Salesforce claims to have built "ethical guardrails" into the EinsteinGPT system.

Microsoft aims to reduce “tedious” business tasks with new AI tools.

Microsoft has incorporated OpenAI's large language model (LLM) technology into its Power Platform developer tool and Dynamics 365.

The updated tools include Power Virtual Agent, which features the Conversation Booster to point an AI bot at a company website or knowledge base, and AI Builder, which includes generative AI capabilities similar to ChatGPT. Microsoft has also released Dynamics 365 Copilot, an AI integration that automates tedious tasks, such as manual data entry, content generation, and note-taking, and can draft contextual answers to queries in chat and email.

However, there are concerns about the reliability of AI systems due to their tendency to make things up, also known as hallucination. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is scheduled to discuss "reinventing productivity with AI" on March 16.

Twitter Chief Elon Musk Has Criticized ChatGPT for Being “Woke”

Elon Musk has criticized OpenAI's language model, ChatGPT, for being biased towards the political left and "woke." He is reportedly in contact with DeepMind researcher Igor Babuschkin and other AI developers to create a competing language model that is less politically correct and more reliable.

Musk's goal is to enhance the deductive reasoning and factualness of language models and improve their reliability and trustworthiness. Rumors suggest that the development of a competing language model could fuel future Twitter features or become a standalone lab to take on OpenAI.
